Tourists are being warned to keep their guard up after a spate of shark attacks in the Egyptian holiday resort spot of Sharm el-Sheikh. The Red Sea spot has seen several attacks just last week, one of which saw a German tourist die after having her arm bitten off. Prior to this three Russian and a Ukranian tourist were attacked and mauled in similiar attacks.
Attacks of this kind are usually very rare in the Red Sea and scarcely happen in such close proximity to it, locals have enlisted fishermen to help catch the maneaters and save their ailing tourist industry in scenes echoing the hit movie, Jaws.
