I need to vent some anger! Whilst I have been travelling I have obviously still had to pay for bills at my home. I have to keep the heating on low as if it goes cold the whole system will freeze and break and I keep some lights on timer.

My mum goes to check everything is in order for me – but I had a huge shock this morning when I got an email from my mum telling me my gas bill was huge this quarter. It’s all done by direct debit so it will come automatically from my account but it is going to take a huge chunk of my money for this month.

Apparently you can compare gas and electricity prices online to find the best price, so right now my mum is looking into that for me. It’s ridiculous that I am not even there and I have this problem! I swear they keep pushing the prices up every month. Rip off! It feels like money down the drain.
